Meet the Zombie

A normal day this past week-
5:00 am : wake up
6:15 am-2:20 pm : school
2:20 pm- 4:00 pm : musical
5:30 pm- 6:00 pm : voice lessons
6:30 pm- 9:00 pm : dance rehearsal
9:30 pm : sleep
Oh wait... when am I supposed to do my homework?? Yeah... it's nearly impossible. I thought I'd blog at least one more time before I'm completely Zombified and my brain turns to mush.

Fast Forward and Slow Motion

It feels like the summer is going by, as my title states, in fast forward and slow motion... simultaneously. Now I know, according to my science classes, that this is physically impossible... but is it mentally impossible? No. The weeks fly by but the days seem to drag on. I can't wait to move on but then I dread the idea of going back to school. It feels like school just got out! It isn't time to register again and pick up the old back pack! It can't be.

Registration can go die.

In a hole.

A very deep hole...

so it can't get out.

Thus ends my cheery post.

Tappin' Childhood Dream

This coming week... I will be starting tap classes for the first time since I was eight. I'm psyched. Clacking around on a wood floor making as much noise as possible... wow. I'll be in heaven. I'm going to shuffle and clack my way through life from now on. Mark my words.

Rollin' Like an Idahoan

We just had a family reunion in Idaho! We went to lots of different places and had lots of fun! These pictures are taken at one of the following; my great-grandma Rose's old house, Shoshone Falls, on the road, or a park by the Snake River.

I used these photos for a photo essay in my photography class... I titled it, "The Journey of Movement".

New blog name.
I thought it time to leave my name behind. I thought it might be nice to be known for my work, not a name. A name? As it has been said, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet... Or something like that. I wish you luck as you enter "In the Head of a Pathological Photographer".

Photography Class...

Oh, isn't Photography Class just a joy?? Here's some of my work that stemmed from sheer boredom... A couple of them were for actual assignments... Yes, there is a lot of pictures... Yes, I do enjoy myself.

Photo-Uploading Mayhem

Once upon a time...
Okay, I'll cut the crap. I was trying to upload photos from Alabama... but they would not upload. Strange... since that's the reason I created a blog... so I could upload photos that wouldn't upload on facebook! Seems that all the technology of our day is ganging up on me to make my life miserable... this theory may be pathetic, but it is indeed true.

Sweet Home Alabama

Sweet Home Alabama--Where the skies are so blue.
I absolutely love it in the south! I wouldn't mind living here. We arrived here and the first day we went to Tuscaloosa, home of the Crimson Tide. We missed going to the Paul Bryant museum, but we got to see the famous stadium! We got pictures of one of the four buildings on the U of A campus that survived the civil war. CRAZY!
I hope some of the pics I have taken will turn out! We've gone to the Burmingham Botanical Garden (67 acres of flowers and trees), the Rosa Parks museum, and the first Confederate White House... just to name a few. Sorry to bore you with details... just wanted to prep you for the pics that may be coming... :). I hope they don't turn out too poorly..
There is a frustrating yellow-green dust that supposedly comes from the trees that just coats EVERYTHING. There's dust in every nook and cranny of my camera, which I hope can be cured. I guess this infuriating dust is one con to having so much beautiful vegitation in one place.
TORNADO WARNINGS?!?! Good thing everyone in Utah knew about this tornado and I didn't!! I got texts from people warning me about the tornado... which was an absolute shock to me... and I was in the same freakin' state as the tree-uprooting-house-destroying natural disaster!!!!

Note to self--Get my tornado radar tuned.

Talk to Ya'll later!

Alabama Bound

Greetings blog-readers!
'Tis only a few short hours until the official start of spring break. YES! I was sitting on the computer the other night, dwelling on the fact I was staying at my house for the long break... :(... When suddenly my dad suggested we just forget everything here and go somewhere! At first I thought he'd say we'd go to Heber or something... so I wasn't that excited... until he suggested that we go to the south; Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama etc. So that's what we're doing... Alabama here we come! It's going to be BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait until I leave... and I can't wait to post the many pictures when I get back! We're going to be going to an aquatic park, a botanical garden, possibly the zoo, an outlet mall, and many many other things!
Talk to ya'll later!

If you are chilly, here take my sweater.

I don't have anything important to mention, no life changing experiences to relay. So I guess I'll just give you some advice, or maybe it's a story, a story I heard a long time ago, or maybe it's a memory, or possibly just a figment of my imagination. Well, here it goes...
Standing in the rain, the water swirling around her like her own personal hurricane, was a girl by the name of Nel. Little Nel. Standing alone in raging storms wasn't new to little Nel, the cold wind and biting raindrops no longer stung her skin. She had only the clothes on her back, no friends, no family, no cozy house to sleep in for the night.
Even with her misfortunes, she dreamed of better days to come. Days that would be sunny and would shine like metallic beams from heaven. But those days were yet to come, and there stood Little Nel, frigid in the ice cold air.
I wish I could help her, as she stands beside the road, but it wouldn't be proper, now would it? We all carry in ourselves, the hope of helping someone who needs us. But at the same time, aren't we threatened by what others might think? I'm here to help you decide to defy the gravity and influence of others. Don't give in. Help. Find the Little Nel in your life and give her your sweater... she's chilly. :)
-Inspired by Erica, author of "Life in the Mouth of a Modern Day Muse".

... Well that's not what I expected to become of the title I chose for my blog this fine day... Oh well. I think it's nice.
